DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING

This position is responsible for providing direction and leadership to the execution of engineering services at Progressive AE.  Engineering services primarily provides internal "full service" support on architectural projects as well as consulting services directly to the outside marketplace. This position is responsible for engineering business development and for all elements of the relationship between the clients assigned to the engineering staff and the company.  The Director of Engineering must establish positive working relationships with all other leaders in the company and manage multi-discipline teams of engineers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 – 10 years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
  • LEED Certified, preferred.


ELECTRICAL PROJECT DESIGNER

The Electrical Project Designer is responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for various project building types.  These systems include but are not limited to: power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and communications.

Minimum Requirements

  • Seven to ten years of experience in building electrical systems design.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in the use of lighting software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Proficient in general sizing software.
  • Working knowledge of short circuit/device coordination software.
  • Working knowledge of energy code compliance software .


ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER

The Project Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for various project building types.  These systems include but are not limited to: power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and communications.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Discipline
  • Seven to ten years of experience in building electrical systems design

  • Proficient in general sizing software
  • Working knowledge of short circuit/device coordination software

HEALTHCARE PROJECT LEADER

The Healthcare Project Leader is responsible for overall team leadership and effective client management, and for completing the work within established quality, budget, and schedule constraints. The Healthcare Project Leader is accountable for the successful completion of our Healthcare projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Master's Degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years related experience.
  • Professional registration.
  • Healthcare Experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of project design.
  • Must possess excellent presentation/communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills .


HEALTHCARE STUDIO MANAGER

The Healthcare Studio Manager will lead healthcare projects and be responsible for overall team leadership and project success.  This person will also support the Market Leader in development of annual strategic business and marketing plans.  You will deliver a quality product through a coordinated team effort and achieve studio financial goals.  You will also provide for overall studio resource coordination.

Minimum Requirements

  • 10  years of experience in the architectural and engineering profession/Healthcare project experience.
  • Registered Architect or Engineer preferred.
  • Proven experience with multi discipline project collaboration and project management.




MARKET LEADER

The Market Leader is the leading external representative of PAE in a specific market.  The Market Leader is expected to have deep expertise in the specific market that they represent and to be able to engage clients with that expertise in a way that is strategically relevant to their business.  The purpose of the engagement is to build a trusted relationship that can subsequently be expanded into broader services that engage our core competencies of design and problem solving.  Integration between this role and the Manager of the Studio within which the specific market is served is critical.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Master's Degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years related experience.
  • Professional registration preferred.
  • Demonstrated competencies in business development, customer service, and collaboration.


MECHANICAL ENGINEER

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for working with the Mechanical Project Engineer in the design of Mechanical Systems for various project building types.  These systems include: load analysis, equipment sizing, ductwork sizing, design of hydronic systems and the ability to coordinate this information with the project design.

Minimum Requirements

  • BSME
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).


MECHANICAL PROJECT ENGINEER

The Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for the design of Mechanical Systems for various project building types.   These systems include: load analysis, equipment sizing, ductwork sizing, design of hydronic systems and the ability to coordinate this information with the project design.

Minimum Requirements

  • BSME.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Mechanical.
  • 5 years experience in Mechanical System Design.
  • Ability to work with minor supervision.
  • Proficient in the use of the design software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Knowledge of code requirements.
  • Knowledge of LEED requirements.


PRINT ROOM CLERK

The print room clerk is responsible for preparing incoming and outgoing mail for distribution; operating large print format and document printing equipment; making deliveries both in-house and out of the office; making deliveries of incoming faxes; operating the dry mounting equipment to make presentation boards; and operating other print/mail room equipment to work with postage, UPS, document, binding and faxing.  This position also involves running errands and assisting with various tasks for other departments within the company. 

Minimum Requirements

  • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while working with a team
  • The ability to function as an effective team member
  • A valid Operator License

SENIOR MUNICIPAL ENGINEER

The Senior Municipal Engineer is responsible for planning, design and construction administration of municipal infrastructure projects with an emphasis in wastewater collection and treatment and water supply and distribution.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional registration in the State of Michigan
  • Five years post-licensure experience in municipal infrastructure engineering with an emphasis in water and wastewater design.
