Bryan brings joy to design. With a transparent and inclusive approach, he establishes a culture of curiosity in the workplace inspiring personal, purposeful, and meaningful designs which celebrate life. In his role as principal and director of design, Bryan works to ensure design is a holistic exploration to be informed and integrated across all disciplines.

With three decades of experience, Bryan applies his subject matter expertise to align clients’ business visions and aspirations with genuine beauty in the built environment. An iterative approach to engagement helps uncover deeper reasons and drivers behind a project which, in turn, helps reveal the true “why” behind a project.

Bryan advances Progressive’s reputation by applying research and advocating for resilient, inclusive, and sustainable design that is centered, purposeful, and environmentally responsible.

Notable clients and projects include the Amway World Headquarters, Acrisure Amphitheater, Mary Free Bed YMCA, John Ball Zoo Bissell Treehouse, Steelcase Work Lab, Brightmoor Christian Church, Saint Mary Magdelene, and Haworth World Headquarters.

“Design takes courage. It is playful, experiential, and everything is with purpose,” says Bryan. “We have a profound impact on clients’ commitments where beautifully integrated environments are meaningful, measurable, and vital.”

Bryan has earned 35 design awards throughout his architectural career including the AIA Michigan’s Young Architect of the Year Award. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lawrence Technological University and with High Distinction from University of Michigan.
