Melissa Powell Sheppard

Melissa serves as a senior interior designer on a variety of project types. She is a passionate designer whose focus is to capitalize on the positive impact and benefits the built environment can have on human health and wellness, both mental and physical. Melissa's human-centered and inclusive designs contribute to projects from pre-design through construction.

Internally, Melissa provides leadership and mentorship to the interior design discipline. She is an active member of Progressive's diversity, equity, and inclusion committee.

"Every project serves a different need, vision, goal, budget, and group of people,” says Melissa. “The definition of a successful space is unique to every client. I revel in the challenge of working with clients to design solutions that are both unique and serve them in their present and future states."
