Hired by Byron Township to provide architecture, interior design, mechanical and electrical engineering, and construction administration for a new 28,800 SF pre-engineered metal structure for the new Byron Township Community Center. The facility offers recreation activities for youth and older residents as well as offices for the Byron Township Parks & Recreation staff. The new facility includes offices, 2,500 SF multi-purpose room with capacity for 183 people that can be divided into three separate spaces, kitchenette, full-size 9,600 SF gymnasium with space for two basketball or three volleyball courts, elevated walking/running track, fitness area, and lounge area with two pool tables, lockers, as well as support spaces.

Objective

Furniture and upholstery selections and recommendations, furniture layouts and keyed installation drawings, artwork and plantscape selections. Received the Associated Builders and Contractors Award of Excellence for Pre-Engineered Buildings in 2010.
