Proverbs 31 Ministries is a non-denominational, non-profit Christian ministry that provides online resources for women. The organization had outgrown their original office location and were occupying two separate buildings about a mile apart. Both buildings were overflowing with staff when P31 leased a 16,000 square foot space in a Matthews, NC, business park. Having worked previously with the ministry, Progressive AE had a deep understanding of the organization’s needs and goals. The design team was able to transform P31’s on-line ethos into a physical space. Central to the concept is “The Well”, a collaboration and broadcasting space inspired by scripture. The aesthetic is a blend of clean architecture with residential accents. Reflecting the mission of P31, the general contractor was Tyler 2 Construction, a woman-owned and managed business. Third party project management was provided by Playbook Project Management.
