Welcome ai Design Group!
I am happy to announce that Progressive AE is expanding through a merger with ai Design Group, an architecture and interior design firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Our goal, first and foremost, is to provide excellent service and expertise to our clients. We’ve recognized an opportunity to combine knowledge and experience, increase diversity of thought, grow our geographic reach, access a deeper talent pool and share best practices to enhance the delivery of services to our clients nationwide. Through this merger, we are creating a stronger, more diverse full-service design firm. Our joint organization will have active work in 48 states, a team of 200 professionals and over 65 years combined history as leaders in architecture and design.
More about ai Design Group
Like Progressive AE, ai Design Group has an established reputation as an industry leader in specialized markets. Our two companies are a natural fit, with similar cultures and aligned strategies. ai Design Group’s industry experience complements our own, and our combined firms will now offer expertise in:
- mixed use
- senior living
What you should expect
If you’re a client of Progressive AE you should experience little change as a result of this merger other than more resources and opportunity. The leadership structures of both companies will remain intact, so you can expect to retain your current Progressive AE account team and contacts.
Progressive AE will continue to be housed at our headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but we will now have a North Carolina office. ai Design Group will be identified as a Progressive AE company.
This is an exciting and positive move for both companies and our organization will only be stronger as a result. I hope you share in my excitement for the successful future ahead!
