We are thrilled to announce that Progressive AE has been named “Firm of the Year” by the American Institute of Architects Charlotte Chapter. The award recognizes notable achievements in design, community service, education, and service to the profession and the AIA.

Since our founding, we’ve set out to impact the lives of our community, professionals, and the future of the design profession. In fact, we’ve been giving back in a variety of ways including a nearly five-year relationship with Classroom Central. Classroom Central collects supplies for students and teachers in nearly 200 schools across six districts in and around Charlotte. Supplies are distributed through the organization’s Free Store, Mobile Free Store and other community-supported programs. In our four-year partnership, we’ve donated more than 23,500 items including essential school supplies, personal care items, STEM and literacy materials, and books! Other organizations we’re involved with include Habitat for Humanity, CANstruction, Toys for Tots, Barkitecture, and others.

The firm was also honored for design achievement with the 2019 AIA Interior Design Merit Award for our work with Barings.  Other well-known local projects include Envision Charlotte’s Innovation Barn and Ballantyne Village. We are honored to receive the award and look forward to continuing to serve our clients and community in 2020!
